Free Webinar: HS Math Pathways Reimagined (August 6 @ 7pm)
Economically, racially, & ethnically diverse Evanston Township High School has used out of the box thinking to create transdisciplinary innovation in their school. In this webinar, the ETHS team will highlight their detracking efforts, discuss necessary instructional changes, and summarize their innovative courses, such as Algebra in Entrepreneurship, Algebra in Coding, Geometry in Construction, Geometry in Introduction to Engineering Design, STEAM Design Thinking & Innovation, and most recently Data Science. The changes implemented over the course of the past ten years have already begun to make the classrooms at ETHS more equitable & are helping to transform mathematics at their school and across the country as they continue to share their work with other districts. This webinar will he held on Tuesday, August 6, from 7 - 8 pm.
