2020 CONFERENCE INFORMATION:  Saturday, October 17.  Virtual Conference

Save the Date! On Saturday, October 17, 2020 ICTM will be holding its annual conference.  Due to COVID-19, our location in Joliet is no longer available, so stay tuned for information about a unique virtual conference on that day!  (Note: This one day conference will be only ICTM this year, not with ISTA)

The theme for this year's conference is "Mathematics is an Adventure".  Speaker proposals have been accepted and are now being reviewed. For questions, contact Scott Miller at [email protected]

Our keynote speaker will be Sunil Singh (@mathgarden)! He will be sharing about Storytelling, and the journey of rehumanizing mathematics for all.

The Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics usually meets every October, gathering educators from across the state of Illinois for two days of professional development, collaboration, and community. We have sessions and workshops led by some of the best educators in the state. Since 2015, ICTM has been partnering with ISTA (Illinois Science Teachers Association) to provide an integrated ICTM/ISTA conference experience in which participants can engage in STEM professional development in one place.  We have discounts for members, early bird registrants, groups, and administrators.  We also provide professional development hours for conference attendees.  We hope you can join us in 2020! Our 68th annual conference occurred October 18 & 19 2019 in Peoria. It was a huge success! Our keynote speaker was José Luis Vilson. Here is a copy of the conference program booklet.
