ICTM Awards

ICTM sponsors eight awards given at the ICTM Annual Conference in October of each year (November during if it's the year of the NCTM Regional in Chicago).  You can find guidelines for nomination and a list of past recipients of each reward below.  All applications and supporting documents are due by March 31 of the application year.  At the ICTM Annual Meeting each year, award winners receive 5 years of paid ICTM membership as well as a plaque in their honor.

Each year applications open usually over the summer.  There are multiple ways to send in a nomination for the ICTM Awards:

  1. Begin the Process: While we don't have the full application form up for 2018 yet, you can help us start the process by simply filling out this short ICTM Award Nomination Google Form which only asks for the name of a worthy teacher.  Someone will be in contact with you toward the beginning of the 2017-2018 school year to help walk you through the rest of the process (getting letters of recommendation, etc.).
  2. Online: Fill out the 2018 Online Award Nomination Form and upload supporting documents.  By clicking the previous link, you will be taken to the award nomination form on this website with it's own instructions.
  3. Email or Mail: Fill out the 2018 Award Nomination PDF and complete all the instructions contained in that document.  Then either email your completed nomination packet to John Benson (whose email is in the PDF file) or mail it to John (whose address is also in the PDF file).

You can see the list of awards available below along with links to the criteria for each individual award.  On the page about the individual award you can also see a list of past award winners for that particular award.  Before nominating someone, make sure you have read the criteria for that particular award to determine if the individual has met the criteria.
