ICTM Annual Conference

The Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics meets every October gathering educators from across the state of Illinois for two days of professional development, collaboration, and community.  We have headline speakers, most recently Dan Meyer (2014) and Dr. Jo Boaler (2015), as well as hour long sessions and 90 minute workshops put on by some of the best educators in the state.

In 2015, ICTM began a relationship with ISTA (Illinois Science Teachers Association) by having our annual conferences simultaneously.  The goal for the future is to have a more integrated conference where we can present more STEM professional development in one place.  You can sign-up for the 2016 conference through either ICTM or ISTA and will be welcome in any of the sessions provided.  We hope this arrangement helps our elementary teachers get two conferences for the price of one and all our math teachers to integrate more real-life application into their classes through science activities.  The exhibitors hall will also feature those from both math and science backgrounds.

The 2016 Annual Meeting will be Oct 7-8 in Peoria, IL with the theme of "Laying the Foundation for Success!"

Find out how to register and more on the 2016 Annual Conference event page.
