Click HERE to register by October 13th for the FREE Webinar "Teaching Math in the Age of AI: Possibilities & Pitfalls (6th-12th grade)" This virtual webinar, via ZOOM, is being held on Wed, October 14th from 3:30 - 4:30 pm (CST). One IL PD credit can be earned by each attendee. Presenter Adam Poetzel (U of I math methods faculty member, experienced keynote speaker, and former ICTM President) will explore the possibilities and pitfalls of AI in mathematics education, with a focus on making thoughtful choices about when, why, and how AI should—and should not—be used. Attendees will consider emerging practices, classroom examples, and key questions for protecting the thinking and learning we want students to do in an ever-evolving AI landscape. |
