Click HERE to register before May 6th for the FREE virtual PD "Math Matters: Practical Strategies for Supporting All Students" which is being held on Wednesday, May 6th from 3:30 - 4:30 pm (cst).  One IL PD Credit is available.  This PD, being hosted collaboratively by ROE40 & ICTM, will focus on practical strategies and helpful suggestions for teaching math to special education students. The facilitator will discuss common barriers students may experience during math instruction and will share instructional practices designed to support access, engagement, and participation. Participants will be introduced to supportive strategies such as multisensory instruction, scaffolding, visual models, differentiated tasks, and structured opportunities for practice. The facilitator will also highlight ways teachers can create a more supportive and responsive math learning environment for diverse learners.
