The Award

 Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics Teaching
The Presidential Award includes:
Each Presidential Awardee will receive a $10,000 award from the National Science Foundation.
Generous gifts to the awardees and their schools from private sector donors
An expense-paid trip for the awardee and a guest to Washington, DC for a series of events which will include:
  • an awards ceremony and presidential citation;
  • meetings with leaders in government and education;
  • workshops to share ideas and teaching experiences; and
  • honorary receptions and banquets.
