Excellence in Middle School Mathematics Teaching

Guidelines for Nomination

The nominee should:

  1. Be a highly motivated 5-9 middle / junior high school teacher, must include time teaching mathematics
  2. Employ a variety of sound teaching strategies and instructional resources.
  3. Participate in professional activities.
  4. Use research on the teaching and learning of mathematics to guide instruction.
  5. Represent the profession with enthusiasm to students, teachers, and parents.
  6. Be an ICTM member.
  7. Meet all nomination requiremnets.
