Guidelines for Nomination

The nominee should:

Be a highly motivated K-6 mathematics teacher.
Employ a variety of sound teaching strategies and instructional resources.
Participate in professional activities.
Use research on the teaching and learning of mathematics to guide instruction.
Represent the profession with enthusiasm to students, teachers, and parents.
Meet all nomination requirements.
